How ROAR's Nationals work
ROAR describes itself as a non-profit body covering 12 US regions plus Canada. It sanctions events from club level up, but it does not run races below the National level, which it calls Level 5. Its Nationals are run by a Race Management Team that ROAR contracts, under National Guidelines last revised on 13 October 2026; where the guidelines and the ROAR Rules differ, the ROAR Rules take precedence. ROAR's current rule book was not read for this site.
- Format: electric classes run four qualifying rounds over two days with mains on the third day; fuel classes run four to six rounds and use IFMAR-style ladder mains (14.1.1 and 14.1.2).
- Entry: full-year ROAR membership is required, entrants may run at most three classes, and a class with fewer than 15 entries at the cut-off may be cancelled (introduction, 12.2, 13.8 and 13.9).
- Skill classes: a driver may race only one level down from their highest entry, and a driver who has attended an IFMAR Worlds in the previous five years and finished in an A main may not enter the slowest spec-motor class offered at a National (12.1 and 12.3).
More detail is on ROAR and how a race meeting works.

Carpet National Championship (on-road), Texas
Red RC reported on 9 March 2026 on the Carpet Nationals, held at the RC Car Club of America in Texas. Kemp Anderson won 1:12, with Sam Isaacs second and Keven Hebert third. Chris Adams won Modified Touring Car, with Keven Hebert second and Sam Isaacs third.
Carpet Off-Road Nationals, New Hampshire
Red RC's report of 18 May 2026 says Chase Lemieux won his first ROAR National title the month before, in 2WD Buggy at the Carpet Offroad Nationals at Maximus R/C Raceway in New Hampshire; a maker's post places the track in Seabrook. A post by Hobbywing, a maker, dated 21 April 2026, claims titles in further classes at the same meeting. A maker's post is treated on this site as a claim, and no trade press or ROAR report of those other titles was read, so they are not given here as results.
1:10 Dirt Off-Road Nationals, San Diego
Red RC reported on 18 May 2026 from SDRC Raceway in San Diego. Dakotah Phend won 2WD, with Aydin Horne second and Spencer Rivkin third; defending champion Brennan Schimmel was fourth. Chase Lemieux won 4WD Modified Buggy. Red RC says Lemieux took the 4WD Top Qualifier spot on a tiebreak over Broc Champlin; an earlier search summary had described the tiebreak as deciding the title, which the article does not say. The 4WD runner-up and third place are not stated plainly in the article.
1:8 Onroad National, Sheridan
Red RC reported on 3 August 2026 from Groove R/C Raceway in Sheridan, Illinois. Diego Morganti won 1:8 Onroad, with Christopher Tosolini second and Ralph Birch third. Jacob Cerrato won 1:10 Nitro Touring and Jose Almonte won 1:8 GT. LiveRC lists a results article for the nitro on-road Nationals the same day (headline only).
1/8 Off-Road Nationals, Silver Dollar Raceway
LiveRC's report, last updated on 14 September 2026, says Seth VanDalen won Nitro Buggy, with Chase Lemieux second and Mason Fuller third. Benny Komerian won the Junior final, ahead of Collin Beaver and Drake McElroy.
The electric classes at the same meeting are known from LiveRC headlines only: one of 14 August 2026 names Dakotah Phend the Ebuggy champion, and one of 11 August names Maifield the winner of the 1/8 Electric Truggy National Championship. A search summary of another LiveRC report says Phend was also Top Qualifier in Nitro Buggy; that is unconfirmed.
A Mason Fuller placed third here, and a Mason Fuller was Top Qualifier at the IFMAR 1:8 off-road World Championship in Texas in late September and early October. No source read says they are the same person, so this site does not say so.
Paved On-Road Nationals
LiveRC lists "2026 ROAR Paved On-Road Nationals Results" dated 26 October 2026. Only the headline was seen, so the event had finished by that date, but its champions are not recorded here.
What was not found, and what comes next
No ROAR results page appeared in the research. Other 2026 Nationals may exist, such as further fuel on-road, stock, spec or 1/12 classes, and were not found; not found does not mean they did not happen. LiveRC lists a "2027 ROAR Nationals Calendar" article dated 26 October 2026, seen as a headline only. How to follow ROAR events is on watching RC racing.
